No longer Free Blogging Service
I am Richard Dover, the founder, administrator, and webmaster for ChristianBlogSites (CBS). We started CBS over six years ago. CBS was started so that Christians could have a place to blog with other Christians. We intentionally created CBS in a manner that Christians of various denominations and persuasions would have a common place to blog. From the beginning of ChristianBlogSites we offered our blogging service free to users with no ads. I personally absorbed all costs.

However, in January 2009 I received a very large reduction of pay from my church (I am the Outreach Pastor). Then in October 2009, I no longer received a salary from my church (instead I volunteer my time). In November 2009 I became the Program Director of Fairhaven House Clean & Sober Discipleship Program. I am also the Program Director and Radio Host of There is Hope Radio. I do all of this with no salary (we do receive free rent). So, we live off of my wife's income.

ChristianBlogSites-Your Help Needed
As of February 2010, we made the decision to charge $5 per year for an annual blog subscription for all new blog subscribers (no fee for existing blog owners). This fee helps cover some expenses but more importantly stops most spammers from obtaining blogs (thus reducing our efforts in dealing with spammers).

The $5 annual fee does not cover all expenses. Here are some ways you can help keep ChristianBlogSites functioning:
1. Refer individuals to our Web Design and Hosting Site.

2. Make a Donation of $5 per year even if you do not obtain a blog but believe in what we are doing. If each visitor made a donation of $5 we would be more than able to cover our cost. The truth is 1 ouf of 10,000 visitors will make a donation. Will you be that one? Make a Donation Now, you will be donating to Fairhaven House, thus your donation wil be tax-deductible.
